Welcome to the 186th Street School home on the World Wide Web!  The staff of 186th Street

School extends warm greetings to you and your children.  This is your school and we are pleased that we have the opportunity to work with you to provide the best educational program for your child.

This website provides important information on ways the school and the family can work together to enhance the overall school program.  It includes LAUSD policies as well as schedules, rules, and procedures to be followed at 186th Street School.  You can find us anytime on the World Wide Web for easy reference when you or your children have questions about school.

We are a School-Based Management/LEARN school.  Parents have an important role in partnership with the school to ensure the success of all children.  Good communication is key to this partnership.  We hope this handbook makes it easier for you to join with us in making 186th Street School a caring, safe, and academically challenging place for children.

Thank you for your continued interest and support!
